The National Basketball Academy is coming to Dickinson this summer! They are hosting a basketball camp at Dickinson High School, June 22–26. It is going to be a fun, high-energy skill development camp for boys and girls in grades 3rd –11th who are interested in improving their basketball skills, learning the game the right way, and enjoying a positive basketball experience. With Open Enrollment deadlines quickly approaching, we would like to provide patrons with our Open Enrollment school board policy. A few important notes to highlight:

Deadlines (per NDCC 15.1-31)

1. Applications: Open enrollment applications must be submitted to the District by March 1 for Board consideration to enroll the following school year.

2. Board Action: Open enrollment applications received from residents of other North Dakota school districts will be acted upon by the South Heart School Board at a regular or special meeting prior to the deadline established by law, prior to April 1. All applications will be reviewed and acted upon in the same chronological order as they were received.

3. Criteria for acceptance or rejection may be based upon the capacity of a program, grade level, or school building as defined in regulations or other criteria deemed appropriate by the Superintendent.
